Clam Harbour Beach Provincial Park, Nova Scotia
City RV Renters can stroll this wide, natural sand beach and feel the warm water lapping at your toes. Walk the coastal hiking trail, boardwalks, and take in an interpretive display along the way. Visit during the annual Clam Harbour sand castle contest in August, which has been running for over 40 years, and you will see some spectacular sand sculptures. A truly unique and family friendly feature of Clam Harbour beach is the warm, shallow tidal stream which runs through one side of the beach. Families often bring inflatables and children love floating down the stream over and over again. Clam Harbour Beach Provincial Park is located in Clam Harbour (84 km / 51 mi from Dartmouth on Route 7) along the Eastern Shore.
