This KOA boasts a recreation room, complete with turquoise booths, a pool table and ice cream socials, sets a fun tone in Amish Country. What we love: Amish bakers hold on-site bake sales on Saturday mornings, and a local artist painted murals on the bathroom doors. Campers can set up at 93 RV sites and in 13 cabins take advantage of free Wi-Fi, pedal boat rentals, badminton, sand volleyball, mini golf, plus 2.5 miles of nature trails.

The Elkhart County KOA is a comfortable retreat from day-to-day pressures, centrally located near the home of the RV Industry and one of the nation's largest Amish communities. Enjoy the simple and quiet life of the Amish here in northern Indiana, visiting the local towns of Shipshewana and Middlebury, where the clip-clop of the horse's hooves will bring back a feel of simple living. Experience the Shipshewana Flea Market, home of nearly 900 vendors, held Tuesdays and Wednesdays every week from May through October. Our KOA offers shuttle service to the Flea Market for a small fee (5/15-9/15), so take advantage of this convenience and save your fuel and energy for the Flea Market itself. We also offer a shopping tour which runs on Thursdays (5/15- 9/15 ), taking you to the back road Amish shops, through Amish Farm country, and includes narration for you to learn more about the Amish lifestyle. You can also enjoy a self-guided CD tour of the Amish Heritage Trail provided by the local county visitor's center, along with a map of the area. This is a great way for City RV Renters to leisurely enjoy the area at your own pace.

Elkhart County is also the "RV Capitol of the World"! You can enjoy the area by stopping at your favorite manufacturer for a tour of their plant. In addition, the RV/MH Hall of Fame is located 11 miles from our campground (we offer shuttle service to the RV Hall of Fame pending availability of the shuttle van).
