Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Kozy Rest, Harrisville, PA This campground is one of the most highly rated parks in the Jellystone Park system built on 34 wooded acres and independtly owned.. In addition to having an extensive activities program, there are many activities to keep the kids occupied—chocolate slip-and-slide anyone? Keen Lake Camping & Cottage Resort, Waymart, PA Family owned and operated since 1954, this scenic resort hosts an exhaustive schedule of activities, including a mystery weekends for kids, a Princess weekend in July, matchbox car races, solar power heated pool and more. In addition to RV and tent sites, the resort has a wide range of rental units, from RVs to a three-bedroom, two-story rustic cottage located on a four-acre island accessible only by boat.

Ventura Ranch KOA, Santa Paula, CA This RV campground spans over 78 acres, located about an hour-long drive north of Los Angeles, features fully furnished park model RVs as well as teepees and safari tents. Activities include a rock climbing wall, a pedal cart track, and an 800-foot zipline, reportedly the longest campground zipline in the country.

Fernwood Resort, Big Sur, CA Established in 1932, this campground is nestled among the redwoods, yet close to the towering seaside cliffs of Big Sur. Offering rustic yet beautiful tent sites, adventure tents, RV sites, and cabins with kitchens and bathrooms, this campground also has a general store, bar and grill.

Silver Lake Campground, June Lake, CA This bare-bones Forest Service campground is located next to Silver Lake in one of the most scenic locations in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. Often used as a base camp for fishing, boating, hiking ,and horseback riding trips, the campground has RV and tent sites, flush toilets, and bear-proof trashcans.
